Jeffrey K. Dorso is the Managing Partner of Pioneer Law Group, LLP. Jeff’s practice focuses on large-scale development, mining law, and natural resources projects in the western United States and internationally. Typical projects involve a complex range of legal issues, including public/private partnerships, development agreements, financing, due diligence, entitlements, the State Mining and Reclamation Act (SMARA), the Williamson Act, and environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
Pioneer Law Group’s client base is diversified across a broad range of clients that include large publicly traded companies, small companies, individuals, and public agencies.
Jeff is admitted to practice before all California courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. He is a member of the California State Bar Environmental Law and Real Property Sections, and the Sacramento County Bar Association Environmental Law Section.
